Senior Data Analyst - Insurance

About the role:

An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Data specialist with exceptional communication and relationship skills to join a growing team within this industry organisation.

Key Duties:

• Working closely with Insurers and Reinsurers in the industry to collect and extract key data metrics pertaining to Insurance statistics
• Develop and manage a data mining strategy and improve insights capability
• Storing and mapping data with respect to claims and premium statistics
• Presentation of data to numerous stakeholders both within the Insurance industry and externally to government and community bodies
• Development of relationships at all levels with the Insurance industry
• Maintaining internal stakeholder relationships with Policy Advisers and industry specialists

Skills & Experience:

• A background in Insurance or Financial Services is imperative
• Experience extracting, mapping and presenting data to all levels of stakeholder
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to present to senior individuals
• Advanced skillset within Tableau, SQL, Python, R or QlikView
• Ability to interpret data and its meaning for the industry
