Our Client:
Our client is one of the Big 4 Banks within Australia and they are currently seeking a Associate Director (Data Transformation)/ Senior Data Analyst to join their organisation on a permanent basis.
In this role, you would be involved in the building of a huge database and User Interface for their Product Control Team to utilise. Their ideal candidate is some who shows a genuine interest in the business context when creating a dashboard.
You will help define and execute strategy across automation, data analytics and visualization. You will have a deep expertise in programming languages such as C/C++, R, or Python, and good database skills. You will use these advanced analytical skills, along with knowledge of Finance and financial markets to drive business value. You will also be comfortable utilizing delivery frameworks such as agile, lean and design thinking.
To be successful for the role, you would ideally:
- Demonstrated experience with visualisation tools such as Power BI
- Strong programming language expertise (Python, R, C/C++)
- Business acumen - results focussed, experienced in financial modelling of opportunities and benefits
- Previous experience working within markets/finance
