Our client a leader in its field is currently looking for a Senior Cloud Systems Engineer to join its team on a permanent basis. Working closely with Solutions Architects you will be responsible for deploying and managing services on AWS. You will also provide input in the development of a migration plan.
Responsibilities will include:
- Develop plans for infrastructure operations improvements and provide input to product roadmap
- Deploy and manage services on AWS
- Deployment, configuration and maintenance of Linux and Windows
- Ensure that a sound migration path exists from the current to future versions of software architectures, reusable components
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Degree in IT or relevant discipline
- At least 8 years' experience as a Systems Engineer
- Minimum of 3 years' experience managing complex environment running in the Cloud (AWS)
- Experience working on complex migration to Cloud
- Strong experience configuring, troubleshooting and tuning system hardware and software configurations for performance and reliability
- Experience with automation of operating system deployment
- Experience using Chef, Ansible, Puppet, Salt
- Experience in shell scripting
- Strong communication Skills
