What is the team trying to deliver or achieve?
The team is trying to improve the capabilities and offer end to end platform delivery to ensure improved time to market while taking security/risk into account. We want to enable a better user experience and enable development teams greater flexibility. Cloud formation and Automation.
What are some of the everyday duties or tasks the individual will carry out?
We are currently responsible for:
Cloud governance both AWS and GCP.
Account Creation
Baselining
Networking and Security
Billing and Resource management
Supporting:
- Config rules
- Guard Duty
- Snapshot management
- VPC
- Proxy
- Jumphosts
- Direct Connect
- Cloud Trail
What are the routine maintenance and monitoring tasks of Cloud services?
Security group management
Account creation
IAM (Users, Groups and Roles)
Identifying unused or redundant environments
Monthly business charge out process
What cultural fit are you looking for in a person?
