The team has end to end responsibility for the Bank's home loans business. They support the proprietary and third party sales and service teams to meet their customers' needs for home finance and advice.
The role sits within the broader Home Loans Projects and Insights function which has responsibility for setting the strategic direction, enabling data-driven decision making through the provision of timely insights and delivering on major strategic projects for the Home Loans portfolio, the team is comprised of these functions:
1. Strategy - setting and monitoring of the strategic direction for Home Loans business
2. Major projects - delivery of major strategic home loans projects including an existing multi-million program of work
Responsibilities:
- Ensure business solutions are aligned with the Home Buying strategy and create value for our stakeholders
- Work with stakeholders to understand their needs, concerns and the environment that they operate in
- Work closely with stakeholders and change management to identify impacts to business processes as a result of system or application changes
- Effectively prioritise work and deliverables according to specified timeframes
- Identify project delivery issues and risks, assist with mitigation strategies, and escalate where necessary
- Evaluate effectiveness of project delivery tools, processes and methodologies, and make recommendations for continuous improvement
- Analyse and document business/functional processes and requirements using standard analysis methodologies and tools
- Convert business needs into functional designs using knowledge of system capabilities, rules, and architecture
- Enable, motivate, direct and continuously develop a committed, empowered, and high-performing team
- Provides team leadership by prioritising, assigning and reviewing work and deliverables of team members according to specified timeframes
