This role is with one of Australia's leading financial institutions and will play a key role within their organisation.
The program requires a Senior Business Analyst who has a solid understanding across the entire payments value chain, with a key focus on merchant acquiring and experience delivering changes that are a result of scheme or other regulatory mandates. Experience in delivery using Agile practices and frameworks such as SAFe and Agile Release Train delivery are also desirable.
You will be responsible for:
- Leading the achievement of the organisations strategy by working with stakeholders to elicit, analyse, communicate and validate requirements for changes to business processes, policies, information and systems
- Defining and managing the requirements through the delivery lifecycle to meet business needs including documentation & refinement of Features & User Stories to support the development, build and testing of these requirements
- Providing and directing recommendations for process re-design and improvements and business solutions, enabling changes to processes, policy and/or information that support the organisation to achieve targeted business outcomes and deliver business value
- Supporting the Scrum Master and Product Owner to deliver a solution that will support all Merchant customers (all brands/segments), business bankers and Merchants support staff
We are looking for a BA with 3-7 years of business process improvement/re-engineering, data analysis, system functional / non-functional analysis experience and business case preparation experience.
Previous experience in Financial Services/Banking is required along with Payments/Merchant Acquiring business.
