Our client is a leader in banking and financial services, they are taking on a new project of work to uplift their transaction monitoring capabilities. They seek a Senior Business Analyst who loves data and BI to join their team on a 12-month contract located in Melbourne's CBD. Reporting into the BA Lead Transaction Monitoring the Senior Business Analyst will be responsible but not limited to the following:
- Developing options for complex transaction monitoring
- Understanding current state including documentation of current state system architecture and data flows
- Understanding of technology used to transpose data from source systems
- Requirements gathering, analysis, managment, and communication
- Solution evaluation
- Liaise with technical service owners and architects
The following are key to being successful in this role:
- Strong Business Analysis skills, analytical and structured
- Data analysis and business intelligence experience
- Ability to engage stakeholders and translate complex, technical ideas for non-technical business units
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Experience using tools such as JIRA and Confluence
- Experience working with metadata, data warehouse, data hub, data transformation projects, data governance, and data quality
