The Organisation and the role
Our client, a leading Financial Services organisation have several requirements for Business Analysts & Senior Business Analysts.
The roles will involve joining the BA practice that enables change in an enterprise by defining needs and recommending solutions that deliver value to stakeholders. Business analysis enables an enterprise to articulate needs and rationale for change and to design and describe solutions that can deliver value.
Accountabilities:
Requirements Elicitation and Analysis
- Identify stakeholders and create and maintain a stakeholder matrix
- Define current and future state
- Undertake gap analysis and prepare summary of findings
Requirements Management
- Manage solution scope and requirements
- Understanding & documenting Technology changes
- Undertake project change control process as required
Transitional Service Arrangements
- Identify and define the scope for Transitional Service Arrangements (TSA)
- Identify stakeholders and create and maintain a stakeholder matrix
- Develop the TSA schedule in collaboration with the Project Manager & drive delivery to agreed timeframes
Project Delivery
- Undertake business impact assessment & document outcomes
- Actively participate in daily project stand-ups
- Be proactive around identification and resolution of risks, issues, blockers and escalates as appropriate
To be considered for this role you must demonstrate the following:
- Exposure to merger, acquisition and separation programs desirable
- Experience in data and technical analysis and developing and delivering business requirements/user stories
- Experience writing Transitional Service Arrangements
- Demonstrated success of delivery within complex projects
- Experience in Wealth, Banking or Finance industry preferred
- Experience with Waterfall and Agile project delivery methodology
