Role Description

Works alongside the business to define and document business requirements; liaises with the BSA, designers, developers, and testers to ensure the business requirements are understood. Contributes to building a strong relationship between the business and technology. Participates in UAT.
Contributes to business implementation tasks including training, business process mapping and business readiness.


Major Accountabilities

Strategy Execution and Customer
* Develops Business Requirements and Non-Functional Requirements.
* Establishes traceability for requirements.
* Contributes to project briefs - identifies benefits associated with particular pieces of work, operational dependencies, and establish appropriate proposals to clearly articulate the requirements.
* Provides high-level evaluation of requirements for business programs and projects, which includes business process re-engineering, cost-benefit analysis, recommended solutions and business requirements development. Verifies and validates at senior levels of the business.
* Engages the business user community to ensure that it has been consulted in the preparation of project briefs, business requirements and process re-engineering.
* Participates in User Acceptance Testing.
* Develops documentation that correctly reflects current functionality, operating procedures and processes.
* Facilitates and participates in discussions between the business area and the service provider to achieve practical, timely and high value solutions.
* Develops Request for Proposal (RFP) and Request for Tender (RFT) documentation for business initiatives.
* Identifies business-related risks, issues and dependencies in the development of the solution.
* Maintains awareness of current Information Security standards and ensures all activities comply with the standards.
* Demonstrates sufficient consideration of customer needs and customer experience targets, as driven by business requirements.

* Recommends options for improving operational efficiency and standards.
* Acts as a business change driver to improve value, operational efficiency and productivity.
