The Role
An experienced Business Analyst to Join a large-scale project within an enterprise sized environment
The successful applicant will have a strong background working within insurance / financial services in large complex environments
Key Requirements
* Bridging the gap between IT and the business using data analytics to assess processes, determine requirements and deliver data-driven recommendations to stakeholders.
* Design, plan, estimate and structure the business analysis approach
* Inform and shape the sequencing and packaging of business analysis activities
* Manage the integrity of the agreed business solution through delivery, including both business and technology requirements
* Elicitation of requirements and using those requirements to onboard delivery stakeholders such as technology and change management to ensure they understand what customer and business needs are for the initiative
* Problem analysis, troubleshooting and detailed decision-making support
* Co-design of the detailed target state to be achieved by the business or project initiative, ensuring it aligns to the agreed business solution
* Articulating best practice business analysis processes
* Identifying and then prioritising business requirements and ensuring alignment of any technical and functional requirements
* Advise on detailed impacts of target state across business areas and to brands, customers, partners and suppliers
* Drive decision making and agreement on any trade off decisions within the agreed scope of the initiative, aligned to the agreed business solution
* Facilitation of large groups of multiple cross functional business areas in person and/or remotely
* Manage ambiguity and educate to 'take people on the journey' of change required
* Constructively challenge and influence respectfully to ensure desired business outcomes are achieved for the initiative as per the agreed business solution
* Contribute to the formation of the Portfolio Execution system of work to ensure it achieves the desired outcomes
