Supported by Federal Government our client is a technology start-up bringing Telco services to regional Australians for the first time. Having integrated 9 companies over 12 months, they have significant funding and are looking for a Backend Developer to join the team. Due to the amalgamation of so many companies there is a real focus and need for understanding API's to work with the integration or build for a collection of core services across the businesses.

Working in a flat company structure, you will work closely with the Development Manager and other team members all located across the country. Due to the nature of the business. if you have an interest in or knowledge of Geospatial technologies that would be a bonus.

As a key backend developer, you will need to have knowledge with API's and Golang. The front-end is Vue.js. Additional skills include Geospatial experience or at least an interest.

This is 100% remote position (within Australia). The energy, enthusiasm and passion from the leaders in this business (and the broader team) is what sets this company apart from other traditional Telco's. With the larger Telco's focussing only on major cities, they are energised by their mission, which is to offer fast and affordable internet services to regional Australians for the first time, which is why they have significant federal government funding and support. This is an opportunity to make real difference to the day-to-day lives of many Australians.

They have a great culture and are looking for a likeminded, experienced Backend Developer to be equally as excited about the role, opportunity and company.

This role is being recruited exclusively by IT Recruitment Practice Lead Dan Gordon (CSM & CPO) 0401 912 645 - dan.gordon@peoplebank.com.au & Lead Specialist Recruiter Sarah Kissane. Please reach out if you would like to discuss the details of our client and this role.
