Our Client:
Our client has a dominant presence within the superannuation industry, they are currently seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer to join on a Permanent Basis.
The Senior Test Automation Engineer will support the client's Quality Assurance Strategy through facilitating the development, maintenance, and execution of the business applications test strategies, providing rigorous quality processes which ensure software delivery is introduced in a controlled manner.
About the role
You would be involved in,
- Contribute to the upkeep of Quality Assurance (QA) Test Strategies taking advantage of technological advancements in Automation and Performance Testing
- Lead contributions to Quality Assurance Test Tools selection including evaluating, executing proof of concept, advising/reporting, and driving implementation
- Lead contributions to the design and development of test automation services using agreed automation tools
- Develop, maintain, and execute test automation and performance test suites
- Lead contributions to the planning, estimation, and resourcing of quality assurance activities
- Ensure Test Plans adequately consider systems, system integration, regression, security, performance, and load testing where appropriate for each project
The successful applicant will have:
- Experience in test Automation & Performance testing.
- Writing automation test strategies, test plans, and test summary results documentation
- Writing, designing, and maintaining automation frameworks and scripts
- Testing business applications, APIs, Web, and mobile applications (IOS and Android)
- Defining test environment requirements
- Defect management experience, writing defect cases, maintenance, triage, follow-up, prioritising, working closely with the vendor, re-testing
- Finance/Superannuation/Banking background will be highly regarded
