- Security Specialist - Threat Detection

In this role, you will ensure the excellent standards of protection against external intrusion and internal malpractice.
You will perform detection and response for a broad range of cyber threats, including malware, denial of service, phishing, unauthorised access, improper usage, and data exfiltration.
You will have the following experience to be successful in this role:
- Experience within a cyber threat detection and response team (CERT, CIRT, SOC).
- Identify and respond to security events and incidents
- Perform analysis across multiple events to identify threats and security risks
- Work with various teams to enable new detection capabilities and on-board new logging sources.
- Work with teams to effectively respond to security incidents
- Apply latest threat intelligence information to the environments
- Report on threat detection and response activities
