About the role
The Cyber Security Integration Engineer will focus on Cyber security Integration of subsystems, testing and compliance for safety critical CMATS solution, along with the provision of guidance/ assistance as required to other technical teams in regard to integration, technical and configuration matters.
Responsibilities
As part of the IVVA team, the Cyber Security Integration Engineer is responsible for:
- Deployment and configuration of the Cyber Security Components and Technologies (Firewalls, IDS, Access Control, Endpoint Protection, Security Event log…)
- Development and execution of the System Integration Test procedures related to security fields
- Analyse and provide test integration reports
- Ensure the Security subsystems, platforms and applications updated and patched in line with industry best practices
- Participation in the integration and testing of systems and / or sub-systems, in accordance with the schedule set by the relevant leader / manager
- Support System Operational Needs and Functional Analysis
Skills and experience
QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Engineering, IT or a related discipline and relevant industrial experience in systems engineering or communication systems.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
- Understanding of the cyber security within a Systems Engineering Process Experience
- Experience in Integration and/or Testing of cyber security requirements at the hardware, Software and systems level
- Experience using and configuring security tools such as Netsparker and Nessus and security protocols such as LDAP, Kerberos, TACACS+
- System Administration and Scripting skills
- Experience in maintaining and patching and updating mission critical systems, applications and platforms
- Experience working in a multi-disciplined engineering environment (1 years +)
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Candidate needs to be eligible for a Defence Security Clearance and need to be ITARS cleared
- Occasional interstate and international travel may be required
