The Client:

Tier 1 Consultancy require a Salesforce Developer for their client who is based in the outer western suburbs of Melbourne in the health/insurance industry

Key Role:

  • Manage the key development and enhancement aspects of the Salesforce Platform
  • Provide solution recommendations that consider options including configuration, coding, third-party apps and integration
  • Oversight and maintenance of code repository including release management and deployment strategies
  • Engage with business stakeholders to develop, enhance, debug and Salesforce solutions that support the business
  • Ability to create, maintain and present technical design, configuration and integration artefacts
  • Ability to fix defects and liaise with Salesforce technical support
  • Work with other team members to develop enhancement requests by eliciting business requirements, identifying the impact to BAU and developing specification documents
  • Troubleshoot, categorise, resolve and track system errors



About You:

  • Lightning experience is essential to this role
  • Ideally you will have around 4 years' experience in Salesforce development using Apex Classes/Controllers/Triggers, Force.com, Visual Force, IDE, Eclipse, Data Loader and Web Services
  • You will be proficient in SOQL, HTML, XML, SQL, JavaScript, C#, SOAP-based web services or REST is preferred
  • Experience working within software development life cycle and project delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) is mandatory
  • Knowledge of environment, security and code management practices is preferred
  • Previous experience implementing Salesforce Sales, Service and Marketing clouds is mandatory
  • Tertiary qualifications in Technology, Computer or a related discipline: Preferred
  • Salesforce Platform Developer 450 and Salesforce Administration 101 certifications are essential
