Our Client:
Our client is a major player within the superannuation industry. They are currently hiring for an experienced SQL Developer to work within one of their larger portfolios for an initial 6 months.
In this role, you will be giving the opportunity to work purely on development across a number of regulatory projects and within a small tight knit team.
About the role
You would be involved in:
- Develop software-based solutions for aligned internal business divisions, including the influencing of design, development, configuration, systems testing, and/or support of business solutions
- Ensure all configuration changes to be planned and documented before implementation
- Developed Systems are fully documented, and operational support is aligned to full compliance with IT Strategy & Architecture standards, including security and risk management policies
- Adopt DEVOPS set of principles (where appropriate and relevant to the systems) to enable design, delivery and test system enhancements and new systems
- Develop and maintain close business system owner engagement for the delivery
To be successful for the role, you would ideally:
- Strong experience in SQL Server 2016
- Experience in scripting languages such as PowerShell
- Excel VBA experience
- Experience in building web-based user interfaces using MS Power Apps or similar
- Experience in programming languages such as C#, R or Python
- Superannuation/Wealth management/financial services knowledge beneficial
