Our client is a large Australian organization looking for a SOE Engineer to join their Perth CBD team. You will be required to build, test and deploy the corporate desktop image management solution as well as package, test and deploy business software packages and updates to the end-users.
Responsibilities:
- Inventory management processes of end-user hardware and software assets
- Create scripting solutions
- Conduct testing and evaluation of new hardware models
- Maintain and update OS image
- Image development, management, QA testing and deployment
- Provide support for Level 3 issue escalations and tickets
- Weekly/monthly reports and organize team meetings
Skills:
- Windows OS
- Microsoft System Center Products (SCCM, SCUP) and Active Directory and Group Policy
- Scripting experience (PowerShell, VBScript, C#, VB.NET, Bash)
- Virtualization technologies (VMware vSphere, VMware view, Microsoft Hyper-V)
- Security platforms (Symantec Endpoint Protection, BitLocker)
- Citrix XenDesktop/XenApp
- Knowledge of ITIL processes
