About the Role
As the SCRUM Master within the development team you will bring a focus on the quality delivery of the system requirements. You will work closely with the product owner to refine and manage all product backlog items as well as to ensure they are complete on time and to specifications. You will initially be focussed on SCRUM Master activities but as the project progresses, you will be required to contribute towards technical tasks.
Responsibilities
- Work with Product Owner to refine, prioritise and to ensure completeness of product backlog items
- Ensure adherence to key SCRUM principles
- Provide guidance and support to team and prioritisation of development tasks
- Lead and facilitate SCRUM meetings
- Lead development discussions,
- Facilitate decision making processes and manage conflict resolutions
- Assist with technical and development tasks
- Assist with creation and maintenance of technical documents when required
Experience
- Previous experience as a SCRUM Master or Agile project manager
- Demonstrated knowledge of Agile methodology and frameworks such as SCRUM and Kanban
- Understanding of iterative and incremental software development principles
- Extensive experience in the facilitation of SCRUM ceremonies (i.e. sprint planning meetings, daily SCRUM, sprint review meetings, sprint retrospective meetings)
- Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholder's expectation
- Experience with TFS or similar
- Extensive knowledge of Asp.Net MVC and C# (.Net Core will be an advantage)
- Extensive experience with Front-end JavaScript frameworks (Angular JS or similar)
- Experience with CSS, SQL Server 2012 and WebAPI and REST
