SAP Travel Management and Credit Card Specialist

Our Federal Government Client is seeking a skilled SAP Travel Management and Credit Card Specialist to engage in the following deliverables:

This role requires the candidate to have in depth understanding of functional architecture and design of SAP ECC in relation to SAP Travel Management. The successful candidate will be as part of a team responsible for the functional delivery of domestic and international travel for the Parliamentary Expenses Management System (PEMS) project.


  • Lead the implementation of Travel and Credit Card services.
  • Provide hands on configuration and support role of SAP Travel and Credit Card functional components and integration points
  • Conduct scenario definition workshops
  • Develop and maintain solution integration plans for 'As is' and 'To Be' process models
  • Develop and maintain blueprint design documents
  • Ensure blueprint design document is peer reviewed and signed signoff by internal and external business stakeholders
  • Implement solution as per the blueprint including analysis of business requirements, development configuration and testing, and supporting the delivery to the business during the preparation and implementation phases of the project
  • Own responsibility for delivering a day-to-day and project activities and outcomes. Work with project team members and business clients to ensure activities are completed

Skills and experience:

  • Experience of SAP Travel Management
  • Strong configuration skills of SAP Travel and Credit Card functional components and integration points
  • Experience in the domain of the ECC 6.0 FI module
  • Ability to provide technology consulting expertise and develop functional and technical specifications for the design
  • Develop and maintain working relationships with a diverse group of business, functional and technical teams
  • Strong demonstrated analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills
  • Track record of undertaking and supporting successful projects
  • Strong written and verbal communication with an ability to drive decisions required to finalise design
  • Relevant SAP Certification


  • Knowledge of the Parliamentary Expenses Management System (PEMS) project
  • Knowledge of UI5 and Fiori App design and development
  • Knowledge of financial tables and data within the SAP Financial modules
  • Public sector experience
