Our client is looking for an SAP Test Lead/ Manager to join a large S/4 Hana implementation.
The ideal candidate will have experience operating within enterprise scale environments and will have the ability to provide testing leadership across multiple programs. A strong background in SAP focussing on S4 HANA and SOLMAN, Test management is highly desirable.
Responsibilities will include:
- Manage the Test Team across multiple SAP Function modules. Responsible to review the Test Plan and Test Strategy (which includes Test Schedule).
- Manage the Full SAP E2E testing lifecycle of assigned projects in a multi-vendor and Multiple stakeholders in distributed delivery environment.
- Review program / project level business requirements, technical specifications, end to end Business Processes and solution design documents, highlighting any gaps or potential improvements
- Governance of Quality Assurance across full spectrum of the SDLC including Unit, SIT, E2E, Business (UAT), PVT
- Define and deploy defect preventive process and measures in distributed delivery model.
- Review reports produced by the test vendor, provide guidance, evolve process and actively participate in resolving issues/roadblocks to testing progress.
- Defect Management activities (prioritization, including, conducting defect triage meeting with business, technology & interface partners)
- Support the project team in leveraging testing tools to improve team productivity and effectiveness (Test Management, Defect Management, and Test Automation, Performance Testing).
- Participate in the planning of UAT, PVT for Programs and Projects (including approach and scope of PVT).
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or other relevant discipline or similar experience in a similar position.
- Previous experience as an SAP Test Manager
- Extensive experience in managing a multi-vendor engagement
- Strong E2E test management background within a fast paced business and in complex IT application landscape.
- Experience with Test management in S4 HANA and SAP platforms e.g. SOLMAN Test Management
- Experience in Test automation tools like UI Path is highly desirable.
- Must have strong experience in Test Management (i.e. demonstrate in implementing test strategy from the start)
- Experience full life cycle SAP Testing implementation experience (ideally Greenfield)
- Must have experience in SAP Testing across the landscape (i.e. multiple modules)
