Our Client:
Our client operates within the the textile and apparel industry where they operate to support a major Australian retailer. They are currently looking out for a Inventory analyst on a full time basis to support the Commercial Manager.
About the role
You would be involved in:
- Analyse the weekly sales figures and forecast the future orders
- Make recommendations on forecast stock orders that need to be placed with the factory for stock
- Raising purchase orders
- Working out timelines and quantities based on analytical data/sales
- Generating weekly stock and sales reporting
To be successful for the role, you would ideally:
- Advanced MS Excel skills (enjoy analysing and interpreting spreadsheets)
- Enjoy comparing data from different sheets (orders, inventory & shipping)
- Have the ability to identify trends in the figures
- Tertiary qualification in Finance or related business discipline
- Be proficient in the use of Excel and Xero
- Attention to detail and excellent numerical skills
- Be able to work in a fast paced environment
- Be adaptable and flexible
