About the Company:
Our client is a leading governement organization. They are looking for a Reporting and Data Analyst.
About the role:
This is a 12-month contract. The organization is located in Parramatta and follows a hybrid working pattern.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain dashboards, reports and related documents.
- Perform a range of data cleansing, data transformation, data analysis and data visualisation tasks using analytical tools to support performance measurement and business needs.
- Document processes for data extract, cleansing and reporting including any underlying assumptions and methodologies to enable repeatable and transparent processes for data analysis.
- Effectively communicate analysis to a wide range of stakeholders using a range of written, verbal and visual methods that comply with internal requirements and expectations.
- Investigate data quality issues and take appropriate action for correction of source data.
- Undertake project work to support the delivery of performance and operational reporting
- Creating and modifying Webi Reports and Tableau workbooks
Skills and experience:
- Demonstrated experience with ETL, Data Warehousing & Data Migration
- Experience working with SQL and Oracle specially in database object design, query optimisation and stored procedures
- Demonstrated experience creating dashboards in Tableau
- Experience working with Jira or Confluence, BitBucket & Python
