We are currently recruiting for a Quality Engineer to work within a dynamic team environment within an Iconic Australian Organisation. Initial 6 months opportunity with possible extension.
About the role
The successful candidate will be required to understand that quality is so much more than just testing. You believe everyone in the team has a role to play when it comes to the quality that is delivered to customers, and you collaborate closely with others to enable this.
Responsibilities
- Improving our automation test suite
- A range of types of testing: functional, integration, end-to-end, regression and performance testing, exploratory, acceptance, security, stress and volume tests, and scheduled disaster recovery
- Ensure traceability of test cases, including execution and metrics, back to business requirements using the approved tools. Ensures compliance with all change control procedures, full version control and configuration management.
Skills and experience
- Experience in the information technology industry and demonstrable experience in risk-based testing
- Awareness of payment Gateway and eCommerce
- Experience in Agile environment and test automation
- Experience with Cucumber, Groovy, Cypress, Rest Assured, Selenide will be desirable
