Our client is looking for a experienced Testing & QA Specialist to join thier Policy and Billing teams for a permanent position.
As a Testing & QA Specialist you would be responsible for working with analysts, developers and other mid to junior level testers in planning, managing, executing and reporting on testing activities to contribute and help define the quality of the solutions being built.
You will be responsible delivering and maintaining an end to end test strategy for the platform, working closely with program delivery and services teams.
You will contribute to the continuous improvement of work practices and the quality of the systems and mentor and train other members of the platform on testing and domain specific skills.
You will be part of a cross-Tasman team working closely with developers, business analysts, architects, environment and release management engineers within our Policy and Billing Center platforms.
Successful candidates for these roles would have the following skills and experience:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Testing Specialist
- Knowledge and experience in Automation testing capability (Ruby/Cucumber, Selenium) would be advantageous
- Understanding of context-based and risk-based testing of complex business applications
- Expertise in the use of a BDD (Behaviour Driven Development) framework based on Cucumber
