Reporting to the Manager IT Infrastructure and Applications, you will provide critical support across all of the Company's sites for Pronto. As the primary contact for all users, a detailed knowledge of Pronto administration is pivotal to your success in this role. The appointee will have a strong understanding of technical concepts, with a focus on business requirements definition, functional specifications development, testing and exceptional stakeholder engagement skills.
Key accountabilities are:
- Pronto System administration
- Development and maintenance of solution architecture, critical system and functional documentation for the Pronto ERP environment
- Managing support vendors, internal stakeholders and users to enable the support of business functions
- Adherence and understanding of IT Service and Application Management Principles in order to ensure application supportability, stability and integration
- Planning, managing and providing advice regarding application updates, modifications, and business analysis required to meet the business needs
The ideal candidate will have:
- Thorough technical and functional understanding of the Pronto ERP product set, with strong experience in Pronto system administration, management and information system principles
- Demonstrated experience and competency with diligence and functional testing, as well as business requirements definition
- Previous experience with Disaster Recovery Planning is well regarded
- Demonstrated relevant experience in project management methodologies and business analysis
- Understanding of IT application solution design, architecture, database design and technical concepts, and experience in functional specifications development
- A degree qualification in IT Information Systems or equivalent, and/or relevant professional experience
- Experience in SQL, Business Intelligence (Cognos) and Linux Red Hat are preferred, but not essential
