About the Company:

Our client is a leading Utiltities company. They are based in Mount Waverley.

About the role:

This is a 12-18 months contract. This role rquires the candidate to have strong stakeholder management skills.

The candiate will be working from office for the first couple of months, followed by a hybrid working situation.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Management of the SAP CRM Solution Phase 1 Project of twelve to eighteen months duration.
  • Initiation, design and delivery of a new CRM solution to deliver Priority Services Customer functionality and an enhanced S/4 HANA based CRM solution that will deliver the functionality in the existing SAP CRM (e.g. complaints, claims, enquiries, compliments).
  • Ensure the solution complies with organization's privacy, FIRB and other regulatory requirements.
  • Identify required skill sets to deliver the project.
  • Lead elicitation and documentation of business requirements and design objectives.
  • Work with the Project Sponsor / Owner to develop an iterative Business Case and coordinate approval from relevant stakeholders and approval bodies.
  • Coordinate tender and selection process to engage a third party implementation partner/s
  • Manage sign-off and approval of project milestones, deliverables and artefacts, reconcile vendor invoices and endorse milestone payments
  • Effective management of third party implementation partner resources, including but not limited to, their project manager, project team members, management team and joint governance meeting representatives to drive the project to successful delivery.
  • Drive collaboration across the project team/s, both internal and external, in order to achieve successful outcomes.
  • General project management activities, including, but not limited to, schedule, budget and resource management and forecasting.
  • Risks and issues identification, management and control, including early identification and escalation to remove obstacles threatening project success.
  • Own and drive all project planning and forecasting activities, including working with the vendor to obtain their detailed input
  • Own and drive the overarching master project schedule.
  • Facilitate joint governance meetings, including preparation of meeting inputs / outputs.
  • Facilitate project steering committee meetings, including meeting inputs / outputs.
  • Facilitate regular project cadence meetings.
  • Deliver the project according to the IT Project Management framework, including stage gate assessments and development of relevant deliverables and artefacts.
  • Provide regular status updates to stakeholders, including project status reporting.


Skills and experience:

  • Extensive (5+ years) project management experience within medium to large enterprises and a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a complex mission critical 24x7 IT environment
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Exceptional problem-solving capabilities with a focus on simplification for IT and business concerns
  • Excellent administration and MS Project skills
  • Experience delivering technology projects involving enterprise software deployment and IT Infrastructure projects
  • Experience working with ERP and/or CRM vendor products through design and implementation
  • Good working knowledge of data migration and archiving problems and solutions in a large and complex enterprise environment
  • A successful background in the delivery of key projects in the corporate world
