The primary duties of the role include:

This role is required to manage the delivery of one or more of these Work Packages, most likely in conjunction with another incumbent Project Manager.

Role Overview:

  • Successful delivery of the specified scope of work for the project or Work Package(s).

  • Establish working relationships with the relevant customer, vendors and the key business managers and the business project managers.

  • Co-ordinate vendor, company, and technical resources required for the projects or Work Package(s).

  • Ensure that suitable governance is in place for the project or Work Package(s).

  • Identify and manage any project level risks and issues and escalate and program-level risks and issues.

  • Ensure that suitable schedules are in place and maintained for the project or Work Package(s).

  • Ensure that all documentation is loaded into Project Insite (Project Online).

  • Oversee all activities for the delivery of the project or Work Package(s) and regularly update the SAP Portfolio Delivery Manager, Project Owner, Project Sponsor and members of the Project Control Group (PCG).

The Project Manager will:

  • Lead the project activity in accordance with the ICT PM2 Framework and deliver specific artefacts on behalf of the identified stakeholders.

  • Engage with the ICT Sourcing team to select appropriate Vendors/Implementation Partners to deliver the Work Packages.

  • Organise and plan the solution delivery approach and obtain endorsement of the approach and the applicable solution and the design artefacts.

  • Engage with the vendors to ensure a robust access provisioning solution is implemented across company's stakeholder groups.

  • Engage all stakeholders and communicate the agreed delivery approach and the planned execution plan.

  • Report to the SAP Portfolio Delivery Manager in the company Portfolio Delivery (Projects) area, but also operationally take direction form the EoMM Project Owner for the direction of the specific Work Package(s)
