About the Company:
Our client is a leading government organization. They are based in Sydney.
They are looking for a Project Manager to join their Corporate Services team.
About the role:
This is a 12-month contract.
The Project Manager will be part of a strategic team that runs 6 work streams within a large program of work.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the planning and delivery of complex and/or large projects to produce the solution deliverables
- Manage the transition of one Service Procider to the next with systematic migration of processes & data
- Be part of a stargetic team consisting of other PMs, PMOs & Delivery Leads and report to the Program Director
- Accountability to take on a highly visible & high pressure role
Skills and experience:
Overall Project Management experience with end-to-end delivery lifecycle experience. From RFP, all the way to operational acceptance and project closure
Demonstrated experience within a reputed Tier 1 Managed Service Provider or Systems Integrator
Previous experience transitioning Service programs, integrating Service Management and Operational Support tools such as Remedy and Service Now
PMP/Prince 2/Professional PM certification
ITIL, Lean Six Sigma, CMMi and Cloud Practitioner certificates are highly desirable
Fluent in Program Governance, RAID, Critical Path Analysis, Resource levelling and WBS
Familiar with Process Mapping, AS-IS, TO-BE, gap analysis, swim lanes and UML (especially Use Case Diagrams)
Hands-on skills in planning, scheduling and collaboration tools including Planner, Visio, JIRA, Confluence, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project
Articulate and succinct, with attention to detail in presentation and formatting
