Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager for a 12-month contract to carry on multiple Mining Projects.
Act as primary customer contact for project activities, leading project review sessions with the customer. Communicate project status with customers, project team and business managers on a regular basis
You will
- Coordinate, manage, monitor and control allocated projects and programs, within schedule, cost and technical constraints
- Develop and maintain project schedule
- Review allocated projects to ensure unambiguous specification of requirements and to identify changes in scope from the original proposal
- Develop and review quotations for Systems Integration in support of sales proposals, including schedule, work breakdown, resources, risk budget and third party providers
- Select and manage third party service providers for use in system solutions. Assess the capabilities of vendors and vendors' products and services to satisfy a complete system implementation
- Participate in the negotiation of contract and contract changes
- Promote systems integration and project management processes and capabilities
- Develop and maintain project financial status documentation
Essential:
- Demonstrated experience in the delivery of large scale IT systems and technologies
- Demonstrated project management experience in radio communications or infrastructure delivery
- Must have recent mining experience
Desirable:
- Proficient with P6 Primavera
- Proficient with Confluence or JIRA
- ITIL Foundations V3 certification
- PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMBOK, AGILE certification
