About the role

Our client a leading organisation within its field are seeking an experienced Project Manager to Manage the direction, coordination, implementation, execution and completion of a series of end-to-end ICT projects across the business

Responsibilities will include:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of project management principles, practices and practical application.
  • A demonstrated ability to manage resources and deliver a high quality of work.
  • Comprehensive understanding of and adherence to standard IT industry project management methodologies, ideally Prince2/Scrum.
  • Excellent time management / ability to prioritise and know when to escalate.
  • Proven ability to manage the operational and process documentation related to project management using ICT PMO methodology coving Waterfall and Agile delivery.
  • Demonstrated expertise and proven ability to plan, manage and implement projects.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, to motivate team members, help negotiate priorities, resolve conflicts and deliver solutions to the business.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding professional presentation and ability to represent the project teams and ICT portfolio in a professional and positive manner.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or demonstrated industry experience including SCRUM master certification. (e.g., IT, engineering, project management)
  • Demonstrated experience in managing a transformative investment projects; ability to build collaborative and informative relationships with key business stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience in project planning and management at a senior level
  • Proven capacity and ability to lead and develop a team of project specialists.
  • Strong negotiator
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong stakeholder management
  • Manage relationships with vendors and third-party suppliers
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders
