About the role
Our client a leading organisation within financial services are seeking a Senior Project manager, to play a key role in an application decommissioning project
The successful candidate Will have strong experience managing decommissioning Projects within application and infrastructure in complex environments
This is an initial 6 to 9-month role.
You would be involved in:
- Previous experiencing Managing an application decommissioning project
- A strong understanding of application and infrastructure
- Understands operational side of decommissioning applications and Infrastructure
- Mainframe experience
- Working alongside a small team of BA's and other Platform teams
- Strong negotiator
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong stakeholder management
- Experience in Banking or financial services is desirable
- Manage relationships with vendors and third-party suppliers
- Effectively manage relationships and communications with delivery teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders
