Our client is an experienced Project Manager to join IT team. The team is responsible for delivering a new system to manage the application and placement of students into selective education.


The role:

  • Assist in building a new system
  • Work with Project team, Change Managers and internal / external teams
  • Regularly communicate with key senior stakeholders to ensure the identification and tracking of project objectives
  • Prepare and present project status reports and communicate project updates to inform decision making at the senior level
  • Actively identify, manage and escalate risks, issues and dependencies
  • Coordinate with business as usual teams to ensure project outcomes are well defined and are transitioned to BAU teams successfully


The candidate:

  • Experienced Project Manager
  • Demonstrated experience in successfully delivering software development projects
  • Demonstrated experience in using agile project management methodologies
  • Experience with projects using core .net and Azure DevOps
  • Experience working with business users to translate business requirements into solution requirements
  • Experience in managing a product backlog with business stakeholder
  • Experience in managing the delivery/build of software, formal testing cycles and release into production. Along with short development to production release cycles. (Agile experience is required)
  • Experience creating high quality project and program artefacts, within emerging or existing frameworks
  • Advanced documentation skills, ability to clearly document processes, requirements, problem statements and formal PMO documents
  • Organisational Change Management experience is highly desired
