Our client is seeking an experienced Project Director to join their managed services delivery team. This team is responsible for the successful delivery of a large scale IVR project for one of the businesses major government clients.
The role:
- Initiate and set goals for programs according to the strategic objectives of the organization
- Plan the programs from start to completion involving deadlines, milestones and processes
- Develop or approve budgets and operations
- Supervise all program and project managers involved to provide feedback and resolve complex problems
- Apply change, risk and resource management principles when needed
- Ensure program operations and activities adhere to legal guidelines and internal policies
- Keep senior management informed with detailed and accurate reports or presentations
The candidate:
- **MUST HAVE BASELINE CLEARANCE
- Proven experience as program director within programs of $30m+
- Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods
- Preferably worked in a managed service environment
- Variety of backgrounds considered Eg, UC, Infrastructure or networking
- Experience managing a Genesys IVR project would be desirable but not essential
- Excellent Knowledge of performance evaluation techniques and key metrics
- A business acumen with a strategic ability
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- An analytical mindset with great problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills
