Our CBD based client is an icon in the WA Market. They are currently looking for an experienced Project Coordinator for an initial 6 month contract, who has extensive experience managing scheduling activities for large projects, ideally within the ICT space. This role will be based in the PMO and as such will deliver services to multiple projects concurrently.

Duties:

-Create and maintain job schedules
-Integrate project plans and related schedules into agreed tooling
-Interact with team members (including subcontractors) to schedule work and coordinate assignments
-Define and/or adhere to project control standards in the establishment of project schedules
-Develop and/or review estimates and estimating assumptions for the project's schedule, effort, and cost using established estimating models, best practices, and past experience.
-Determine integration points and dependencies between projects that need to be defined within the schedule
-Consider opportunities to optimise the schedule and consult with teams to confirm optimisation, integration and dependencies
-Validate rules of credit and alignment to project budgets and costs for the purpose of project control reporting
-Measure and monitor progress against plan (and budget) to provide informed project reporting
-Identify variances from the original plan and liaise with relevant staff, updating and reporting changes as required.
-Maintain project schedules and related integration points when there are management of change events
-Ensure project plans and changes to schedules commitment are communicated to all affected team members and project leadership
-Participate in quality and/or project control management reviews

Skills Required:
-Previous experience documenting the status of project progress against plans, taking corrective action as necessary
-Experience working with project metrics defined by the project
-Experience working in project controls and maintaining project control related tasks, including integration with project accounting/costing function
-Strong organisational, interpersonal and communication skills
-Ability to multi-task in an agile environment.
-Proficiency with computers, Microsoft office and related project control tools
-Good understanding of scheduling management
-Basic understanding of project costing and management concepts.
