Our client is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to join the career centre team in Sydney CBD. The team is responsible for the successful roll out of retail stores.
Job Description:
- Track project manager progress on each store project according to KPIs, providing regular reporting on program status & project manager performance, reporting to store delivery manager
- Perform internal ordering on behalf of project managers for key network infrastructure, and manage through to service activation
- Perform purchasing activity for store projects through quotation, purchase order and invoicing phases, reporting to project managers to ensure budgets are up to date and cost reporting is accurate
- Review and refine store delivery control documents and processes on an ongoing basis to ensure best practice
- Evolve & maintain the existing SharePoint document management system, ensuring all projects are supported and project managers are held to account to keep the system updated with project documentation
The candidate:
- Project Coordinator or Administrator experience from a variety of backgrounds considered - Retail, construction, infrastructure or Networking to name a few
- Ideally has a few years' experience or someone wanting to step up into a Jnr PM role soon
- Preferably built something physical - eg retail stores, or data centres or roads / buildings
- Waterfall background but not essential
- Retail background could be beneficial however people with the right attitude and willingness to help deliver stores will be considered
- Adaptability and willingness to work hard to deliver great experiences in stores
- Experience with MS Project, SharePoint, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
