Our client is a leader within the financial services industry. They are taking on a new program of work that requires a Project Analyst to support the team on a part-time basis for 6-months located in Melbourne's CBD.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development of the project financial forecast using relevant tools and supporting the ongoing maintenance of forecast
- Execute the end to end procurement process and supports the completion of invoices and payment processes
- Complete weekly financial variance report for review
- Weekly Risk and Issue Status report to project team
- Coordinate with risk and issues owners to update the database
- Develop and maintain structured framework of repositories including confluence page and document storage
- Ensure compliance to document control processes including version control
- Provide access to repositories to team members as appropriate
- Coordinate resource forecasting in PPM
- Regularly ensure financial forecasts match PPM resource data
- Coordinate onboarding logistics for project resources eg. building access, LAN access, accommodation, project mailbox, distribution lists, leave registers
- Facilitate resource requirement meetings as applicable
- Completes ad hoc activities as agreed with Project Manager
- Booking flights, accommodation, transport and Visas for associated travel
Assist in the preparation of:
- Project/Program packs
- Organise meetings, book meeting rooms, capture/distribute minutes, VC
- Maintaining distribution lists for reporting purposes
- Support ad hoc project meeting and reporting
The ideal candidate will have:
- Team player
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, proactively, and manage multiple tasks
- Strong communication skills written and oral
- Intermediate Excel skills and understanding of financial management concepts
- Ability to engage and manage relationships with multiple stakeholders
- Ability to speak Vietnamese is desirable but not essential
