Our client is seeking an experienced Program Manager to join their managed services delivery team. This team is responsible for the successful delivery of a large scale IVR project for one of the businesses major government clients.
The role:
- Manage the role out of their Genesys IVR project - interactive voice response
- Manage and lead a dedicated team of Project delivery professionals, engaging with a leveraged resource model for delivery resource planning and tasking;
- Responsible to the Portfolio Manager for ensuring quotes have been approved by the customer prior to commencing Program delivery and/or incurring cost to their Portfolio team
The candidate:
- **MUST HAVE BASELINE CLEARANCE OR ABOVE
- Solid and demonstrated experience in a Professional Services delivery setting;
- Solid and demonstrated experience in the delivery of successful IT/ICT Programs $7m
- Demonstrated ability to perform in high-pressure, deadline critical situations;
- People and Team Management experience in a matrix organisation; additionally, in a Global Delivery Model
- Proven track record of operational management including regular reporting, managing budgets, developing talent and strong communication/presentation skills;
- Highly skilled in understanding the financial drivers of Projects and in developing sound and achievable financial business cases and execution plans;
- Proven ability to directly supervise or guide others with ability to exercise judgment regarding assignments based on Program Manager's skills and personalities;
- Effective and demonstrable influencing and negotiation skills;
- Ability to manage and mentor high performing contributors who must excel in dynamic, high stress, high stakes, customer-facing environments;
- Expert oral and written communicator at all organisation levels, effective and compelling presentation skills;
- Broad knowledge of commercial, technical and legal issues;
- Experienced in mentoring and coaching staff in delivery of Projects and Programs;
- Tertiary qualified in IT/ICT, Business, Project Management or a related field
- Project Management Certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) - Project Management Professional (PMP) at a minimum
