About the role

The Program Manager will lead the Safety program to improve performance and ensure that scope, financial and schedule purpose is met.

  • Identify the key Safety Critical Communications improvement initiatives through to implementation engaging and managing key business stakeholders across directorates
  • Execute safety responsibilities, authorities and accountabilities and develop the Safety Critical Communications Initiatives Program Plan and schedule
  • Manage the identification and validation of key Safety Communications initiatives across all directorates
  • Review and develop the Safety Critical Communications model end to end

Skills & experience

  • Ideally a record of achievement in delivering major Safety projects, including managing operational readiness
  • Prior experience developing and motivating high performance teams
  • Knowledge of stakeholder management integral to the procurement and project delivery practice within the government context
  • Ability in successful change management in a complex environment
  • This is a Non IT position and would suit candidates with an Operational and Technical/Behavioural Compliance background
