Our client, a leader in the Telecommunications industry, have an opportunity available for a Program Director on a permanent basis. The person will be responsible for with proven experience delivering large scale Telco Build/Construction programs for large enterprise clients. This is a high-profile position managing a team of like-minded professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Initiate and set goals for programs according to the strategic objectives of the organization
- Plan the programs from start to completion involving deadlines, milestones and processes
- Develop or approve budgets and operations
- Supervise all program and project managers involved to provide feedback and resolve complex problems
- Apply change, risk and resource management principles when needed
- Ensure program operations and activities adhere to legal guidelines and internal policies
- Keep senior management informed with detailed and accurate reports or presentations
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years Telecommunications experience / managing telco projects - RAN, Networks, Rollouts, LTE
- Proven experience as program director within programs of $50m+
- Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods
- Excellent Knowledge of performance evaluation techniques and key metrics
- A business acumen with a strategic ability
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- An analytical mindset with great problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills
