Our client, one of the big 4's in the banking and finance sector, is looking for a Principal Engineer to join their team and drive their new mobile framework setup within their digital domain.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to the organization of engineers.
- Set the technical direction for the area's architecture and engineering practices.
- Partner cross-functionally with different teams and organizations across the organisation
- Design, create, deliver and maintain high quality Digital Platforms
- Work closely and collaboratively with Product teams during different stages of projects inception, analysis, development, support
- Promote and coach software engineering best practices such as Pair Programming, Clean Code and Test-Driven Development
To be successful, you would ideally have:
- Strong experience in mobile development, design and architecture
- A solid technical background as an engineer within React Native Core components.
- A solid technical background as an engineer within iOS/Android mobile development (Objective-C, Swift , Kotlin)
- Deep knowledge and development/design experience in object-oriented languages: Java/J2EE, C++, Kotlin.
- Experience working with diverse teams from development, testing, security, architecture, infrastructure to business and management
