Our Client:
Our client is within the Federal Government. They are currently seeking a POWER BI Specialist to work within their Digital Capability and Transformation business unit. They are current offering a 6-month engagement.
About the role:
You would be involved in:
- developing analytical products to meet specified business requirements
- have strong project management and business analysis experience
- define, document, and implement metrics via the Power Bi platform.
- develop SQL scripts and Power BI (DAX code) to curate transactional datasets from systems and data from other sources
- present concise high quality data visualization products to business and senior management
- manage and report on project deliverables and input into daily and weekly performance meetings and weekly and monthly reporting
To be successful for the role, you would ideally:
- significant industry experience in data visualization products and reports (representing complex analytics/insights) to meet specified business requirements using Power BI
- Strong project management and business analysis skills.
- developing SQL scripts and Power BI DAX code to curate transactional datasets from corporate systems as well as data from other sources
- Ability to develop and/or improve Power BI reports and analytics
- Must be an Australian Citizen
