Our client is seeking an experienced platform engineer to join their networks team. The team is responsible for designing and developing embedded software that sits on home Wi-Fi / residential gateway platforms.
The role:
- Support the automation platform
- Support developers and product owners in automating and building a platform
- Scripting in Pythion and Shell
- Software Development of embedded real time systems
- Using AWS tools provide a Web API layer to retrieve information from the Embedded technology.
- This is an interesting time to get involved, the whole architecture is being considered and you can have a say in which direction they go
The candidate:
- Python programming
- Python / shell scripting
- Aws cloud
- Automation - Jenkins, git, ci/cd, cloud formation, terraform scripting, ansible
- Basic networking knowledge
- Open WRT or similar
