- Perl/Python Developer
- 6 months contract with possible extensions

Our client, a Global consultancy firm is seeking to engage an experienced Python Developer.
You will be joining an existing team and will be required to take part in project deployment and maintenance from the Sydney office location.
The ideal candidate will have prior demonstrated extensive client facing experience within the Australian market sector.
To be eligible for this opportunity, you must be an Australian Citizen or permanent resident
Key requirements
- Must have experience in Programming in Perl/Python or both
- Strong in Linux and Networking
- Strong in open source databases in in or more (MySQL/PostGress, Mongo DB, ClickHouse, Time series database etc.)
- Network automation, data collection, performance reporting using various open source tool sets and protocols (SNMP, Telemetry)
- Knowledge/experience in Software Defined Networking (desirable)
- Core ISP software development skill sets in - DNS, DHCP, Radius, TR69 etc.(desirable)
- Experience in Analytics & Reporting - OpenTSB, Hadoop, Grafana, Elastic Search etc.
- Experience in building cloud technologies - openstack, ceph, Ansible, Puppet, NGNIX etc.
