Purpose
Work as the test automation specialist on a cross-functional team, working with Software Engineers, Business Analysts, UX and Design to deliver high-quality software.
Responsibilities
- Create test plans for complex systems.
- Node.Js experiuence highly regarded.
- Must be able to do non-functional testing
- Performance testing
- Champion quality practices within your team and look for ways to continually improve our practices, process and products.
- Be a strong advocate for the customer, and help drive and shape solutions that delight our customers
Experience
- You have previous experience as a Senior QA engineer on a cross-functional team in an agile environment.
- You have built Test Automation frameworks using open-source tooling (at the moment we use Cypress, WebdriverIO and Capybara for functional test automation and JMeter for performance testing)..
- You have a technical background and are comfortable with development tools like git, docker, querying databases using SQL, and have a working knowledge of AWS.
- Telecomm background highly regarded. Banking and Finance industry also regarded.
- You are passionate about Quality and Test Automation and keep yourself up to date on the latest developments in this space.
- You have good communication skills, working collaboratively with your team and helping introduce and explain new tools and techniques.
