Our client is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to join their corporate sales team. The person is responsible for designing architecture and assisting the sales team to deliver professional proposals to drive sales.
The role:
- Work with the sales team to define solutions to customer opportunities, including participating or leading scope of work determination
- Proactively build relationships with clients to be become a trusted advisor
- Qualify requests from sales to certify solution proposals are in line with existing product and service offerings
- Attend requirements gathering meetings with the customer and the sales representative
- Develop, design, document and deliver scope of works, hour/cost estimates, professional proposals that meets the customer's requirements
- Provide assistance on network solutions, product plans and roadmaps.
- Work with the sales representative to finalise and present sales proposals
- Manage the pre-sales cases assigned to you in the queue and update as appropriate
The candidate:
- Extensive experience as a network architect or a similar role including routing, switching and in particular wifi - Experience designing and scoping WiFi networks required
- Preferably degree qualified accompanied by several years' experience
- Strong experience with gathering client requirements and analysis
- Strong knowledge of systems design principles, requirements specifications, standards development and practices
- Relationship building skills when interacting with clients, vendors and internal staff
- Motivated and capable of mentor's other team members, particularly at a technical level
- Experience in designing large scale campus or data centre networks
- Cisco certified required - CCNP or CCDP - CCIE would be preferred
- Ruckus / Juniper Certification advantageous
- Watchguard advantageous
- IP WAN Design
