The role
As a Network Engineer, you will be providing day to day operational support to the business. You will resolve third level faults supporting predominantly Cisco products. You will take pride in problem solving and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the network environment
- Fail Fix Support of network routing, switching, load balancing, Wireless and Voice
- Adds Moves Changes (AMC) of enterprise DHCP, DNS, Network Device Inventory VLAN
- Configuration and implementation of network devices/services
- Engage effectively with Carrier & Vendor technicians
- Adhere to Change and Security policies
Mandatory Experience
- Level 2 and 3 Network support
- In depth understanding of network concepts (LAN/WAN/routing/switching)
- Cisco CCNP or similar work experience
- Cisco technologies WAN LAN WIFI Voice
Desirable Experience
- Knowledge of Radware Load balancing
- Practical experience of DNS and DHCP technology changes
- Demonstrable technical end user service restoration skills
- The self-motivation, reliability and proven ability to work as part of a technical team
