The role
As a Network Engineer, you will be providing day to day operational support to the business. You will resolve third level faults supporting predominantly Cisco products. You will take pride in problem solving while delighting the customer.
To be successful, you'll have:
- Cisco CCNP or similar work experience
- Cisco technologies WAN LAN WIFI Voice
- Knowledge of Radware Load balancing
- In depth understanding of network concepts (LAN/WAN/routing/switching)
- Practical experience of DNS and DHCP technology changes
- Demonstrable technical end user service restoration skills
- The self-motivation, reliability and proven ability to work as part of a technical team
- Cloud Certification, ideally AWS
- Minimum Bachelor of Computer Science/Computer Networks or similar
Key responsibilities
In providing Network support, you'll be working closely with third parties and field engineers. You will be supporting our team members across distribution centres, data centres and end user peers. We'll look to you to:
- Support the network environment
- Fail Fix Support of network routing, switching, load balancing, Wireless and Voice
- Adds Moves Changes (AMC) of enterprise DHCP, DNS, Network Device Inventory VLAN
- Configuration and implementation of network devices/services
- Engage effectively with Carrier & Vendor technicians
- Adhere to Change and Security policies
