Our client is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join their dynamic telecommunications team. The team is responsible maintaining, building and expanding MPLS core networks in JUNIPER for the company's private network clients.
The role:
- Plan, implement, configure and oversee the networks that support clients
- Perform pre and post checks on MPLS data networks
- Assist in the delivery of key project work
- Working primarily with Juniper equipment
- Assist with the build of new Point-of-Presence
- Work with internal stakeholders such as pre-sales, architects, SDM's, PM's, provisioning and site survey professionals
- Minimal travel required
- Work with a supportive team
The candidate:
- MUST have recently and extensively work with Juniper Routers & Switches
- Experienced Data Network Engineer
- Background in project work
- Strong understanding of MPLS IPVPN, IP Networking and Broadband Access technologies. Excellent working knowledge of IP, RIP, BGP, and OSPF. Experience in MPLS/BGP Design and implementation
- Telecommunications experience is a must
- Available to travel once every 2 weeks for a night
- Degree qualified
- Cisco CCNP, Juniper JNCIA, JNCIS - preferred or equivalent work experience
