Our client is seeking an experienced Network Designer to join their service operations team whom consist of Network Triage, Network Designers and Network Implementers. The team is responsible for all network / firewall changes & requests for the many areas of the business.
Responsibilities include:
- Deliver a complex or more than one component(s) of an IT solution in line with functional - business requirements based on expertise across one (or more domains where applicable).
- Analyse customer firewall requirements for multiple networks and produce network designs/CIPs that can be implemented by service operations.
- Analyse basic and advanced network service requirements for hosting environments (e.g. VIPs, load balancing, SSL offload, iRules) and produce designs/change implementation plans (CIPs) that can be implemented by company.
- Lead e2e troubleshooting investigations with key stakeholders such as the requester and service operations to diagnose designs that are not working.
- Provide consulting services to customers to assists with requirements discovery, general advice and e2e technical project leadership.
- Assist with some Triaging/consult advise for customers at front door.
Experience and skills required:
- Candidate need to have an excellent I.T. comms/network knowledge and have good experience with Cisco, Juniper and F5 products
- Strong technical competencies in (some):
- Juniper SRX - Zone Security, VR &SRX clustering.
- Cisco NX-OS, ACI and advanced layer 2 and 3 protocols, VPC configuration, VRF/ BGP,OSPF and MPLS.
- F5 Load Balancer, Experienced with AFM, LTM,GTM, ASM,APM, Experienced with SSL profiles, iRules
- Algosec - Algosec automation tool for firewalls rules design
- Network orchestration - NSO, Anuta, Openstack
- Desirable: Professional industry qualifications such as Cisco CCNA/CCNP with at least 3 years proven practical experience in the I.T. industry.
