About the Role
As Network Designer you will focus delivery to two areas in Network Design Presales Capability and Network Infrastructure Solution Designs. This role will consultant internally to the business on solutions.

Responsibilities
- Deliver a Network Presales capability
- Design highly secure detailed network infrastructure solution designs that provide high availability and disaster recovery
- Managing network IP addresses
- Design local area networks and wide area networks (LAN/WAN)
- Design application delivery across an enterprise, including across multiple data centre facilities, incorporating network security and firewall considerations and governing Internet Protocol (IP) schema management.
- Support customer consulting engagements and business opportunities
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders including telecommunications carriers
- Provide customers with wide area network (WAN) costs/high level designs, ensuring solutions are designed and delivered consistently
Experience
- Solid background as Network Designer
- Strong experience in Network Presales, including working with customers to derive business requirements
- Experienced working with third party vendors and Telecommunications Carriers/providers
- Knowledge around Cloud Hybrid Network design/application delivery, Cisco (including core Cisco data Centre routing and switching technologies, i.e. NEXUS, BGP, OSPF), Wireless, Bluecoat, Avaya, Iron Port, Firewalls - Juniper/ASA/Palo Alto, AlgoSec, Infoblox
- Understanding of current Telecommunications providers services, and costing
- Ability to design LAN/WAN solutions that are fit for purpose and meet customer business requirements
- Prefer experience in the planning, designing, and implementing of LTM, GTM, APM and ASM services utilising f5 hardware and software in a complex and multi tenanted enterprise environment
There will be some travel to different locations, there will also be some after hours support
